Jose Freire, Founder & Owner
Jose Freire is the founder and owner of Overseas Wood Design. His passion for woodworking began at just 13 years old, when he started working in a wood lathe shop and gaining hands-on experience with craftsmanship and the woodworking trade. A 2018 graduate of Falmouth High School, Jose later graduated in Leadership and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Arts. Beyond his work at Overseas Wood Design, he also serves as a youth leader, reflecting his commitment to leadership, mentorship, and serving his community.
Our Team
Sarah Freire is an owner of Overseas Wood Design and a key part of the company’s leadership and growth. A graduate of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and a Leadership graduate, she also serves as a Medical Assistant Lead, bringing strong communication, organization, and people-focused leadership to her work. Sarah plays an important role in supporting the company’s direction, operations, and long-term vision while helping strengthen the foundation behind OWD.
Wallacy is the Field Project Manager at Overseas Wood Design, helping oversee projects from the job site through completion. He brings strong attention to detail, hands-on experience, and a commitment to quality while helping coordinate the field team and ensure each project meets OWD’s standards.
Julia is the Office Manager and Secretary at Overseas Wood Design, playing a central role in the company’s daily operations and internal organization. A Leadership graduate, she oversees scheduling, client communication, administrative coordination, and office management. Her professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail help keep the company running efficiently while supporting both the leadership team and client experience.
